Ray Medina - Ventana Project
Ray Medina inaugurated his exhibition at Ventana Project on March 14, 2024. The gallery, located in Berlin and directed by the talented artists Irving Ramó and Aquiles Jarrín, became the perfect setting for two of the most prominent works from his European tour. Medina’s presence at Ventana Project marked a significant milestone in his career, providing him with a platform to share his creativity with an international audience. The opening attracted art enthusiasts, both local and foreign.
Ray Medina has taken his Punchline series to new heights with two works, the 98th and 99th in the series. These pieces mark the near conclusion of this collection, as Ray has committed to creating around 100 works in total for this series. In these creations, dominated by shades of red, cyan, lilac, and green, Ray demonstrates his exceptional skill in color selection and composition, crafting works that not only captivate but also harmonize with the contemporary international aesthetic.
Ventana Project’s work in promoting contemporary art shines once again with this exhibition. The gallery has become a beacon for both emerging and established artists, offering a space for experimentation and artistic expression.
